Today I'm going to be talking about the It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Conditioner + Keratin, I'd heard about this and seen it in several US blogs and resigned myself to not being able to get hold of it here but one day while browsing the beauty products in TK Maxx, this little blue bottle of wonder jumped out at me. It was £12.99 down from £19.99 so it's by no means cheap and it's not exactly a huge bottle either, I think it works out at 100ml but I don't mind paying for something if it works. The fact that this also has Keratin in is another win for me, I know Keratin works well with my hair and helps to keep it sleek and fight frizz.

It has a spray pump that leaves a fine mist of the product on hair, it's quite a heavy product I find so I don't tend to use too much otherwise it can leave build up in the hair and leave it feeling a bit lank, I also tend to focus it on the ends of my hair rather than all over as well but I do have fine hair so if you have a different hair type, it's worth experimenting to see what works best for you, my first time using this, I went to town with it and hated it so didn't use it for a while but once I'd played around with it and worked out what worked best for me, I absolutely love it, it leaves my hair silky soft and makes it so easy to get a brush through my hair when it's wet, which is normally torturous. It has quite a light scent which doesn't tend to linger so if you do like heavily scented hair products, this might not be the one for you.

I'm not overly keen on the packaging for this, for a start TK Maxx have a put a price sticker on this that covers the whole of the back of it, when I tried to take it off, it left a sticky mess on the back so I've just left it on. But the bright blue and shiny orange doesn't really work for me either, but life isn't all about the packaging is it?! I'm also a little concerned that nearing the bottom of the bottle, the product is getting thicker and thicker but it still seems to spraying out normally so I'm hoping it will be ok!

If you want to get hold of this, keep an eye out in your local TK Maxx because it does pop up quite frequently in mine.

Have you tried this, what do you think of it?

REVIEW // It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner + Keratin

A very quick NOTD post for you today to show my current obsession. I LOVE red nails, but I really struggle to find a colour that doesn't make my hands look washed out as I'm quite pale but this colour is perfect and hasn't left my hands for the past month, in fact, I did paint my nails with another colour the other day and had to take it off almost immediately to put this on, it looks very classy, is done in two coats and dries really quickly. I'm in love with the colour and formula of this.

NOTD // Rimmel Central Love Heart

I'm not going to lie, I'm a complete flower whore, nothing makes me smile more than a fresh vase of Tulips, or a bouquet of Peonies, they're so pretty, it just makes me feel happy and spring like - I'm easily pleased. So, when I spotted the Bloom & Wild and Birchbox offer of getting a monthly Birchbox and a monthly Bloom and Wild delivery for £20, I went straight for it, I pay £13/month for my Birchbox anyway so it meant that the Bloom and Wild subscription would essentially cost me £7/month - YES, PLEASE!

If you haven't heard of Bloom & Wild before, it's essentially a monthly delivery of flowers (or weekly, or fortnightly, or one off) that fit through your letter box. Each bouquet is different and hand picked and designed by their florist, the idea behind bloom and wild is that the flowers are longer lasting because they cut out a whole chain of events that supermarkets and florists normally have to go through to get you the freshest flowers. I was waiting in anticipation for my delivery to arrive and when it did, I wasn't disappointed, I work from home so I heard the postman putting it through my letterbox, I raced downstairs to open it up, even the packaging is lovely  and the flowers were wrapped with a box, the flowers had little pods of water at the end of the stems to keep them fresh during delivery. There were several different types of flower in the arrangement I got Roses, Lilies, Chrysanthemums, Carnations and more. I've had my arrangement for over a week now, and there are still some lily stems left to open up and the roses and lilies that have opened still look fresh.

If you love flowers, I really recommend this, The subscriptions start at £13.95 but it's also a good idea for one off gifts, these start at £16.95 but because they can be dropped through the post box, you don't have to worry about trying to organise them to where the person you're gifting is going to be.

If you can't tell, I'm smitten.

What do you think of Bloom & Wild? Is it something you're interested in?

REVIEW // Bloom & Wild

Another NOTD post for you today, this time I've paired Rimmel's Mary Mary Quite Contrary and Zoya's Nyx from the PixieDust collection on the ring finger. I really love the look of these two together but on the whole I'm not a huge fan of the Rimmel Polish, it's very sheer and quite streaky I find. I had to use around 4 coats and even then I could still see through the polish, I love the colour though, it's a greyish lilac that looks amazing in the bottle. Zoya's Nyx is is just so pretty, it's again, a greyish purple colour and is so sparkly that dries to a matte glitter effect, it takes around 2 coats for full coverage on this, I like a shiny top coat on this but I tend to use 2 layers of top coat because it's sucks it up.

I was recently contacted by Farmaline - link here - to see if I wanted to try any of there products, I'd heard of Farmaline before and jumped at the chance, they're an online shop selling French Pharmacy products but delivering the UK, all those hard to find products that would normally have meant to a trip to France to get your hands on are now available at your fingertips without any crazy marked up prices. What's not to love?!

I decided to go for the Phytoneutre Clarifying Detox Shampoo. I mentioned to Phillipe, the contact I was talking to at Farmaline, that my hair tends to be dry but can get quite oily at the roots and he said this would work really well for my hair. After using this several times, I'm completely sold on it, it's such a lovely product that leaves your hair incredibly clean but without feeling stripped at all, my hair is so soft and shiny after using it. It comes in a metal tube, and is a shiny green colour, it's packed full of various essential oils, the most dominant in the scent is Eucalyptus, which smells freaking amazing, it reminds me of Lockets (did anyone else have those as a kid?) It also has Sage, Chamomile and Witch Hazel in it, which all help to remove product from the hair and cleanse the scalp without irritating or drying the hair out.

The packaging suggests using this once a week, but I've actually been using it twice a week and it's really helping to keep my hair fresher for longer. I still wash my hair everyday, just because I like the feeling of clean hair and I find my hair is easier to style when it's just been washed but this product means that if I didn't, I wouldn't be a big grease ball (Lovely image there)! Normally with these kinds of clarifying shampoos, I feel like they strip my hair too much, leaving it knotty and a bit frizzy, I have the Ojon Full Detox Shampoo and while I do use it, it's just a bit too much for my fine hair. This product is also Paraben and Silicone free, which isn't something that normally sways me too much but I know it's a big factor for some people.

You can find this product here for £10.17 which is definitely one of the more affordable of the clarifying shampoos on the market (The Ojon detox shampoo is double the price!)

Have you used Farmaline before?

REVIEW // Phytoneutre Detox Shampoo // Farmaline

Before buying the Origins Night-A-Mins, I had been lusting after it for quite some time, I'd been given a little sample by one of the girls at our local origins stand and the citrus scent and rich, moisturising, almost balm like formula instantly won me over. It wasn't long before I was hitting up the origins counter ready for my next night-a-mins fix, at £32 a pot, this isn't the cheapest night cream out there but sometimes it really is worth spending the pennies, and for me, I'd rather spend more on skin care in the hopes that eventually I'll be thankful for it. I love the name of this cream, the little play on words of night-a-mins, definitely sucked me in and it's quite true to form as well, this cream really is like your giving your skin a good dose of vitamins and goodness.

The formula is super rich and creamy, it's got quite a solid formula, like a soft creamy balm, in the pot that when applied to skin is super moisturising but not at all greasy or heavy on the skin and leaves skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft, I do have the High Potency version which is made with oil, but if you have a more oily skin type or are prone to breakouts, they do have an oil free version that may work better for your skin. As the name suggests, this does have vitamins  C, E & H that work overnight to help reveal glowy, refreshed skin by the morning. After using this, in the morning, my skin looks a lot brighter, more even and just generally a little healthier than when I'm not using it. If like me, you enjoy a tipple or two at the weekend (or every night, I'm not judging, I hear you!) this is great for hungover skin and helps to take away the grey, dull tone that too much alcohol can sometimes give you. It smells amazing as do most Origins products, and has a zesty, clean fragrance that almost makes you want to eat it.

I'm starting to get a bit of a line up now of the origins moisturisers and I have to say, they are pretty impressive, they tend to do what they say, which when you are spending £30+ on a cream, you want to get what your paying for, they're also made using natural ingredients and essential oils which is always good. I'm already planning to re-purchase this, I can't imagine it not being in my routine.

Have you tried this, what did you think of it?
